We have an exciting opportunity available for a skilled Trade Assistant to join a thriving steel manufacturer in the heart of Western Sydney. Take on a great hands-on role offering a variety of work and job security.

WHATS ON OFFER:

• Dayshift 6am starts and weekly OT available at penalty rates
• Work on a great variety of custom steel & sheet metal products
• Stable role and upskilling provided in a supportive team
• Clean and well-organised workshop environment
• Secure onsite parking available

THE ROLE:

• Assist with assembly and production duties in the workshop
• Assist with manufacturing custom sheet metal products
• General labouring, manual handling, and workshop duties as required
• Read and interpret drawings and perform quality checks
• Follow strict WH&S requirements in the workshop

ABOUT YOU:

• Previous experience in a hands-on workshop/ assembly environment
• Experience using power tools and equipment safely
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills
• Strong sense of safety and keen eye for detail
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team
